What do you need help with?
Repair an existing system. If your water is cold, the temperature is inconsistent or your unit is leaking, contact us with its brand, model and symptoms. An assessment can establish whether a repair is practical before you commit to replacement.
Replace an old hot water unit. We help you compare a suitable replacement with your existing system. Household demand, available space, energy supply and installation requirements all matter when choosing the next unit.
Install a new system. Planning a renovation or a new hot water installation? We can discuss the location, capacity and plumbing requirements so your system suits the property and the way you use hot water.
Call (08) 6400 5390 or use the quote form above. Plumbing licence 8396 · Gas licence 13098.
Choosing a hot water system for your home
Gas continuous flow: heats water as you use it, without storing a tank of hot water. The unit must be sized for demand, including how many outlets may run at once, and requires a suitable gas supply.
Gas storage: stores heated water in a tank. Tank capacity and recovery rate should suit your household’s usage.
Electric storage: stores water heated by an electric element. Available space, tank capacity and your electricity tariff affect suitability and running costs.
Electric continuous flow: heats water as you use it, with no tank, in a very compact unit. The property needs enough electrical capacity for the unit, so this should be checked before you decide.
Heat pump: uses electricity to move heat from the surrounding air into the water, so it can use less electricity than a standard electric element. It needs a suitable location with good airflow, and noise should be considered.
Solar: uses roof-mounted collectors to heat water from the sun, with a booster for when there is not enough sun. It needs suitable roof space and orientation.
There is no single best choice for every home. Tell us how many people live at the property, how many bathrooms you use and what system you have now. We can discuss suitable options and their installation requirements.

How much will hot water installation or replacement cost?
The price depends on the system, its capacity and the work needed at your property. A replacement in the same location can involve different work from changing system type or relocating the unit. Pipework, valves, access, energy connections and removal of the old system can also affect the quote.
For a useful first conversation, have your suburb, current unit’s brand and model, and a description of the problem ready. Ask us to explain what the quote includes before work starts. Here is what makes HouseWorks different from other Perth hot water services.
Honest service, clear communication
At HouseWorks Plumbing, we value transparency. We communicate clearly and honestly, ensuring you understand every step of the process and never face unexpected costs. There is a $0 call-out fee, and we explain what the quote includes before work starts.
