HouseWorks Plumbing & Gas (“we”, “us”) provides plumbing and gas fitting services across Perth, Western Australia. By booking or accepting a quote from us you agree to these terms.

1. Quotes and pricing

Quotes are valid for 30 days and cover the work described in writing. Extra work found on site (for example hidden pipe damage) is quoted and approved by you before we proceed. There is no call-out fee for standard bookings; after-hours or emergency attendance may attract a fee, which we tell you before we come out.

2. Bookings and access

Please give us clear access to the work area and let us know about anything that could affect safety, such as asbestos, unstable structures or pets. If we arrive and cannot start the job through no fault of ours, a reasonable attendance charge may apply.

3. Payment

Payment is due on completion unless a different arrangement is agreed in writing. We accept card, bank transfer and cash. Overdue accounts may incur reasonable recovery costs.

4. Workmanship guarantee

Our work is carried out by licensed plumbers and gas fitters (Plumbing Licence PL 8396, Gas Licence GF 13098) to Australian Standards. We stand behind our workmanship and will return to fix any defect in our work at no charge. Products and appliances are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty; we help you make a claim if needed.

5. Your rights

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded.

6. Liability

We hold public liability insurance. We are not responsible for pre-existing faults, damage caused by others, or issues arising from information we were not told about, except as required by law.

7. Cancellations

Let us know as early as you can if you need to cancel or move a booking. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a fee where we have already committed time or materials.

8. Privacy

We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy.
